愛樂奇隻身前往非洲徒步旅行，結果不小心被一隻獅子追捕到，沒有帶任何防身武器的愛樂奇嚇得只好祈禱：「敬愛的上帝，請救我不要被獅子吃了……！」
想不到獅子聽到這句話，居然也跪下祈禱，於是愛樂奇鬆了一口氣問那隻獅子是否也因信仰上帝而不吃牠了。
「我也信上帝啊！牠設計我就是要吃弱小動物，我現在正在向牠做餐前謝恩禱告」獅子回答。

Elekey traveled to Africa. Exploring the wilderness by himself, he was caught by a hungry lion.Unable to defend himself, Elekey started to pray, "Dear Lord, please save me from becoming this lion's meal..."
Surprisingly, the lion started to pray after hearing Elekey's prayer. Elekey felt
relieved and expected the lion not to eat him. "Thank goodness you believe in
God too!!!", said Elekey to the lion.
"Yes, I believe in God. And I just prayed to thank Him for giving me this meal!"
replied the lion.

出車禍死亡的愛樂奇在黃泉路上遇到生前經常膜拜的關老爺，不禁向關老爺埋怨說：「我從前常常貢拜您，但是您為什麼不保佑我避過這場車禍呢？」
「我有呀！但是你車子開得比我的赤兔馬跑得快，我想追都追不上吔！」關老爺無奈地反駁。

Elekey died in a
fatal car accident. On his way to the afterlife, he met Guan-Gong, the god he
used to worship.
Elekey complained to him, “I used to worship you! Why didn't you save me from
death?"
Guan-Gong replied, "You were driving so fast that I couldn't catch up to you
with my horse to help you!"

caused by the ornaments blocking my rear view mirror..." Elekey explained to the
police officer.
"So why did you hang those things on the mirror?" asked the police officer.
"Well, because they are good luck charms..." replied Elekey.

au policier après un grave accident de voiture.
“Mais pourquoi tu accroches ces choses devant ton miroir?” demanda le policier.
“Parce que ce sont des porte-bonheur.” répliqua Elekey.

God sets many unwritten
(rules) Rules for people to follow. For example, "Drive safely." and "Be
cautious in unfamiliar surroundings." are two of them.
Instead of ignoring these Rules and praying only in times of need, we should
carefully observe and apply these Rules, thereby gaining protection.
